It gives me great pleasure to confirm that Absolute Financial Management Ltd (AFM) has now merged with AWA Wealth Management (AWA). This coming together of like-minded firms began in the late summer of 2021, when Robert Paulding and I first sat down to discuss how we might facilitate such a move. Sadly, as you are aware, Rob was lost far too early to a terrible accident. I'm sure he would have been extremely pleased and proud that his Executors, together with the remaining AWA team, finished what he started.

There was a great deal of research, due diligence and scrutiny leading to AWA choosing us to strengthen their proposition as your Independent Financial Adviser. This included ensuring that we have the necessary regulatory, administrative and financial resource in this ever-changing world to continue their excellent work.

Heather Fosker, who has worked tirelessly over these past months, will now form part of our great consultancy team, joining our broad spread of qualified advisers. Lija Teteris, Beth Roles, and Peter Harris, will also join the AFM team of administrators and paraplanners, continuing to work closely with you from the Sunningdale office. Our aim, with their help, is to minimise service disruption to your financial affairs and help ensure a smooth transition of agencies, with all your current terms, providers, and accounts being unaltered.

I would like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to Graham Toogood, who came out of retirement to help during this transition period. He wiil now ease back into his well-earned retirement.
